Uses and types of activated carbon
Activated carbon is an extremely excellent adsorbent. It is made from raw materials such as wood charcoal, various fruit shells and high-quality coal through a series of processes including physical and chemical methods for crushing, sieving, catalyst activation, rinsing, drying and screening. It has the dual characteristics of physical adsorption and chemical adsorption, and can selectively adsorb various substances in the gas and liquid phases to achieve the purposes of decolorization and refinement, disinfection and deodorization, and purification and refinement. The inspection standards can be in accordance with the Chinese national standard GB, or other national standards such as the American ASTM, Japanese JIS, and German DIN standards.
